 Frequentely ask Questions:

  • Does the colour of the inside of the fabric matter?
    No, the colour makes no difference.  It is the quality that is important.  Ours is the only 100% waterproof and breathable material on the market designed specifically for the caravan industry.

  • Can you breath through Specialised accessories fabric ?
    No, because this would indicate there were holes in the fabric which would allow dirt and water to  pass through on to your van making the cover useless.  You cannot breath through gortex and your own skin which are both breathable !

  • Do you need to cover the windows before fitting our cover?
    No, as the inside of the material is non abrasive and will not scratch the windows.  We do however supply  free of charge a breathable material that can be cut to cover the windows if you feel you are in an area where dust and grit can blow up under the cover.  However this is highly unlikley to happen as our covers are tailored to fit each van so we only supply it as a precaution.

  • Do you need to measure your caravan or motorhome ?
    We have a huge database of caravans and motorhomes on file so in 99% of cases we already have the dimensions.  If however you have an unusual van or an older model we may need you to do a few measurements.  The dimension sheets can be downloaded from http://www.carcoversuk.com/accessories_motorhome.htm

  • Can I access the caravan whilst the cover is on ?
    Yes, there is a velcro access door.

  • Is there an allowance for the satellite aerial and flue ?
    Yes, there is an allowance on the roof which we will have marked on our pattern.

Show News:

  • This year’s NEC Boat Caravan & Outdoor Show in Febuary was a huge success.  We had great feedback on the caravan covers and a lot of support from our loyal customer base that is spreading the word for us.  With all the economic gloom in the press we were apprehensive about this years show but we need not have worried as the Caravan community seem to take these changing times in their stride.  We even dare to hope that with many of us not travelling abroad this year that caravanning will reach new heights of popularity with a surge of new families wanting to join the experience.
